Tesla Gigafactory Begins Battery Production, Wall Street Urges Caution, The race to get ‘Tesla Gigafactory 2’ heats up, French Minister visits Fremont factory

1. What is a Giga Factory and who is making it? What will be made there?
- The Tesla Gigafactory 1 is a lithium-ion battery factory under construction, primarily for Tesla Motors, at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC) in Storey County (near the Community of Clark, Nevada, US). Tesla is making this gigafactory because, Tesla plans to have a productions rate of 500,000 electric cars every year by the second half of this decade, which will require a huge supply of lithium ion batteries, a type of rechargeable battery.

2. What is the difference between the 2 articles? 
- Article 1 focuses on the first gigafactory and how wall street cautions Tesla about making that factory. However, Article 2 focuses on  where in Europe the gigafactory will built.

3. Were the author’s views the same or conflicting? Provide examples.
- Neither, considering the fact that the focus of the two articles were different. For example Article 1's focus was "Tesla’s Gigafactory began production on Wednesday, marking a major milestone that drew praise and excitement from just about everybody but Wall Street." Whilst Article 2's focus was, "France is not the only country in the running, Finland, Portugal, Spain and others have organized efforts to bring the factory to their country."


4. List one detail that was present in one article but not the other. How would this detail affect the meaning of the other article?
- In Article 1 they stated, "The $5B Gigafactory is still less than a third complete..." This helps show that teh article was talking about something completely different.

5. Based on the articles what is your opinion about the Giga Factory? Provide examples.

- Based on the articles I think building a gigafactory is good idea considering the fact that it will help save energy. However, some people are saying that it might end up being too expensive for Tesla. So, I don't really have a solid opinion on this.
